Temple Baptist Life

The music ministry is a vital part of the Temple Baptist Church Life, bringing worshipers to honor our Lord through different mediums of music. Blended worship assisted by instruments is the weekly worship form focusing our praise on God.

Technology of computers and sound equipment is a way we present God’s message on special occasions, such as, Christmas, Easter and July 4th. The music ministry participates in worship with the residents of Columbine Manor, the local nursing home.

Can you believe that a month has already past in this glorious year of 2012? Writing for the next two months keeps us looking forward too much to come. The many opportunities for service in the music ministry are vast and it is an honor to praise together thru music.

February will be a wonderful time to share God’s love in song. We are looking forward to the Valentine banquet on the 12th. Hear that there are many surprises in store. Do not miss such an opportunity!

Once again on the 19th we have the joy to praise at Columbine with the wonderful people. What a blessing at Christmas we had to join with the residents celebrating the birth of our Savior. February will be a busy month and then we will find some time as we head into March to prepare for the Easter season.

It was great to have some non-rehearsal time after our Christmas S.O.C.C.E.R. team and now it is time to move forward in 2012. Rehearsals take much time but the joy we find in Jesus thru our efforts is amazing. Your support is uplifting to us and we pray that God touches your life thru each hymn, praise chorus or anthem we sing.

We are so thankful that Judy Bush joined us during the time she and Bro. Pat were serving with us. Anytime you are back in the area we welcome you! It has been delightful!
