Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions

Our goal is $2,500.  We will be collecting for this special offering through the month of April. Please pray about what God would have your give.

Open Your Hand, Open Your Heart – Spring Mission Project

June 9, 2012 from 7am – noon
Bake Sale, Yard Sale, & Car Wash to benefit the World Hunger Fund of the International Mission Board.

We all have things we are not using that can benefit others.  Use April and May to sort through your closets, drawers, garage, shed, etc. for any unused items in good condition. We will start accepting things at the church on Tuesday, May 29th. If you would like your items picked up, please call or email the church office. We are collecting almost everything. If you have a question, call Sam Haltom at 207-4443. Ask your friends and neighbors to donate items also. Let us know if you can help out. Plan to attend the event and get your car washed and get some good deals.

Local Missions Funding Update:
The Missions Committee met in March and further discussed the needs of the community.
• Funds collected in April will go to support BV Prison Chaplain Dan Ehlers.
• Funds collected for May will go to Salida Christian School.
• Funds collected in June will go to Valley to Valley Senior Day Care.

Please bring your shoeboxes for the 2012 Operation Christmas Child to the church office anytime.

Food for The Grainery Every Month

Please remember to pick up a shopping bag and return it with items for The Grainery each month if you are able. You may also purchase soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving cream, shavers, and baby wipes. Let’s show our community they are loved.

Ponderosa Summer Camp

Peak Kids Camp is June 18-21 for kids that have completed 3rd grade through 6th grade.
Cost is $185 for registrations before 5/29.
Scholarships are available.

Students interested in the Summit Student Camp for those that have completed 6th -12th grade should contact Vicki Kilmer.
