Temple Baptist Life

The women’s ministry at Temple Baptist is called Women’s Missionary Union Ladies Group.  The group meets every second Saturday at 10:30 am at the church.  Ladies, please invite your friends.  We have a short program, projects and lunch.  All of the meetings for 2010 are on the calendar section of the website.

Thanks to all of you who worked so hard on the Christmas Cards for the prisoners I know Jan really appreciated all your work. Thank you for helping me out in a very difficult time. Keith is better thank you for all your prayers.

The ladies will be taking December off no ladies meeting. The next Women’s meeting will be January 14, 2012 at 10 am church Ann Hurley will be doing her testimony.

We have 2 womens bible studies going, one at 1 pm Tuesdays in the room by the kitchen. We are doing a series by Sheila Walsh “The Shelter of God’s Promises” we have 2 more weeks then we will start “The Power of a Whisper” by Bill Hybel for 4 weeks. The evening group is doing “Woman of the Bible” we meet at 6:30 pm at the home of Anne Bearden.

I am excited about the new Beth Moore Study “James Mercy Triumphs” please plan to attend. We will be starting the study January 10th at 1pm Tuesdays at the church and 6:30 pm at the home of Anne Bearden. This is an exciting study for all women please talk to your friends about attending, we can even have 3rd group if there is a call for it. God has given Beth Moore such a wonderful gift of sharing the gospel and we all need to be receptive and available to her teaching.” PLEASE” plan to be apart of one of the groups. Jeremiah 3:15, says “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will fed you on knowledge and understanding.”
