Temple Baptist Life

The women’s ministry at Temple Baptist is called Women’s Missionary Union Ladies Group.  The group meets every second Saturday at 10:30 am at the church.  Ladies, please invite your friends.  We have a short program, projects and lunch.  All of the meetings for 2010 are on the calendar section of the website.

Ladies if you missed the February meeting you missed a real blessing. Pat Finif shared her testimony with us and it was wonderful. We had a salad luncheon and fellowship. We do have a good time please plan to come and join us.

I hope you can join us March 13 at 10am. Lucy England will be sharing her testimony. Lucy will also be putting together surprise soup for us. Please come bring a can of you favorite vegetable to be added to the soup.

Please put April 17th on your calendar. We will be having our women’s spring retreat. It is called “Sweet Life Café”. It is a relaxing, fun and worship filled time. This is a retreat for all ages and stages of your spiritual walk. You may have someone you have been praying for bring them and see what a fun time Christians have. Plan to came and share this one day retreat. More info later.

We have 17 women taking the study of “Revelation”. This is an outstanding bible study, I thank God everyday that we have the freedom to gather and study Gods word. I think so many times we take this freedom for granted. My pray is that we would never lose this privilege.

Let’s always serve and not give up. Thank you ladies for your willingness to be available whether it is a funeral, prepare meals for those in need, sending encouragement to prisoners, and praying for all the special needs that arise in our lives everyday.
