Yes you are reading that correctly. Impact youth group has decided to change its name to “Legacy youth group”. Thanks to Bobby O. for coming up with a list of names and the kids had an overwhelming majority decided on Legacy. The acronym for our group name stands for:

Living
Eternally
Grateful
As
Christian
Youth

The kids have designed a new T-shirt and they should be ready any day. We are all very excited.

As a fund raiser to cover cost of T-shirts as well as sponsor some of the kids for upcoming trip, the youth group is selling greeting cards and Christmas cards. There are a dozen cards per pack and are beautiful scenic pictures on the front of the card with engraved scripture verses. The inside of the card is blank. Cost of the cards is $7.00 per box or $6.00 per box when you buy 2 or more. We have sold the cards after church, door to door, and with the help of some businesses. Thank all of you who have helped support our youth. I also hope you really enjoy the cards and think they are a terrific price.

As you get this letter we will be off to DARE 2 SHARE November 6-8. Please pray for us. We have seen God truly work wonders at this conference and we have many younger kids who have never been to this event. I pray God touches all of us. I think it could be a life changing. I am always amazed at how God can work.

It has been a busy fall for our youth group as a new school year has begun. We have many new faces and have really been having a blast. Lots of laughs, fun games, singing, crazy dancing, worshiping God, and exploring our faith. God is really blessing us each and every week. What a pleasure to serve Him.
